Downtown Ridgefield will be open for business as usual, with extended holiday hours on four consecutive weekends starting November 27, 2020.
-
Temporary pop-up shops that complement downtown merchants will be set up in Ballard Park and Lounsbury House, offering additional sales of goods and gift items.

Urstadt Biddle Properties will provide a retail space on Bailey Avenue as a gift-wrapping and Holiday Village information center.

Live music and other performances will transform Ballard Park into a winter wonderland, large screen TVs will facilitate safe-distance trivia games for all.

A Victorian carousel will be part of the amusement-ride experience, and ice-sculpture carvings will provide a live performance-art show throughout the downtown area.

A magical light show will wash over the trees and buildings during the four-week-long village experience.

Santa’s Workshop will feature such kid activities as story readings, pictures with reindeer, and painting.

Live music from DJ Big Daddy Sean McKee on Friday nights and many other musical acts.

Ridgefield Theater Barn will facilitate holiday performances for kids.

Before the pandemic, Ridgefield’s downtown businesses self-funded the popular Holiday Stroll. Due to COVID-related economic pressures and the need for social distancing, the Holiday Stroll is not possible this year.
